Alisa Berseneva’s practices are a harmonious blend of classical Hatha yoga and profound breathing techniques. Alisa’s primary focus is on the mindfulness of every movement and managing one’s internal state through the breath.

What to expect in these sessions:

  • Unique Breathing Techniques: Each session begins with a centering practice through pranayama—ranging from the calming "straw breath" to the dynamic, energy-awakening Kapalabhati.
  • Focus on Awareness: Special attention is given not only to the body but also to the eyes (Trataka) and the relaxation of the occipital area, which helps release mental tension.
  • Deep Spinal Work: The sequences include gentle "waves," backbends, and forward folds designed to lengthen the lower back and open the chest.
  • Fluid Transitions: Alisa guides the practice through a continuous flow of movements synchronized with the breath, allowing you to enter a "flow state."

Workout #2: Spinal Mobility and Balances

This sequence is aimed at developing flexibility and a sense of equilibrium. You will begin with circular eye movements for concentration, then transition to dynamic folds and squats that stretch the lower back. The practice concludes with a series of single-leg balances to help you find inner stability.
