Milk with ginger and turmeric - against FLU and colds


The combination of spices with milk has long been used in the treatment of colds and to strengthen the immune system. These two products, even individually, have a positive effect on a “cold” body, and in a company their benefits increase significantly. If there are signs of a cold and SARS, such as headache, sore throat, lethargy, and they proceed without fever, you should try taking ginger milk with turmeric 3 times a day in a warm form, especially good to do this in the evening.

Benefits of milk with ginger and turmeric:

Many in the off-season prefer to drink tea with a slice of fresh root in order to prevent SARS and just to keep warm, but the combination of milk and spice is more effective.

Milk with ginger and turmeric - against FLU and colds

Turmeric is one of the healthiest spices in the world. It has been used for centuries for liver disorders, muscle and joint pain, arthritis, respiratory and gastrointestinal disorders, skin disorders, and to boost the immune system.

It has powerful anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial properties, which is why it is especially useful in case of chronic and autoimmune diseases.

Ingredients (2 servings):

- 2 cups of milk;

- 1 tsp turmeric;

- 2-3 cm of peeled ginger root (if there is no fresh one, you can use ginger powder - 1 tsp);

- honey to taste.

 

Cooking:

  1. Pour milk into a saucepan, add turmeric, bring to a boil and remove from heat.
  2. Add grated ginger or ginger powder.
  3. If you add grated ginger to boiling milk, it may curdle. We add at the very end.
  4. Cover with a lid and leave for 5-10 minutes.
  5. When serving, strain through a sieve. Add honey to taste.

 

 

Attention! The drink includes ginger and turmeric - there are contraindications for their use: fever, diseases of the digestive tract during an exacerbation, breastfeeding, pregnancy, for children under 2 years old (because turmeric can cause an allergic reaction).
